Created to create. My path has always led back to the role and impact creating art has as a teacher in our lives. Full of metaphors and lessons if we’re open to receiving them. I love observing and experiencing the symbols and archetypes life offers and how they communicate with us on our path. It reminds me how interconnected everything is around us.
My path in life thus far has come with many of its own challenges I’ve had to face, and I’m not unique in that experience. Some things of my own doing and others not. What I’ve found is that one of the most powerful things we can do is have courage to embrace the opportunities change offers us. It’s not without its discomforts, but you will find your own transformation in it the deeper you go.
Through reconnecting with my spirituality and artistic expression I found a new way to look at tattoos. Hand-poke was the method that came to me with the most lessons and opportunities that supported my lens. As a teacher of discomfort, patience, focus and intention, every poke holds meaning and purpose. Being a guide it offers me and the receiver a portal inwards.
